NovaShores Adventures offers guided sea kayaking tours out of two very different, but equally interesting locations in Nova Scotia: The Bay of Fundy near Cape Chignecto Provincial Park and Dover near Peggy's Cove and Halifax.

Fundy, how to get there

NovaShores Adventures is located at 37 School Lane in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada.
GPS coordinates: N 45 degrees 20.493', W 064 degrees 47.158'.
You will see our signs in Advocate Harbour directing you to the office in our large old home at the end of School Lane.  From Halifax it’s a 3 hour drive, from Amherst 1 hour and 10 minutes. Amherst is the entry point to Nova Scotia coming by car from New Brunswick. If you fly in to Halifax International Airport you are only 2 1/2 hour away from your Fundy kayaking adventure!
From Amherst driving on the Trans-Canada Highway 104 you take EXIT 4 and turn right onto HWY 2. After 3 km turn right onto HWY 302 towards Parrsboro. In Southhampton you go automatically back on HWY 2 following the signs to Parrsboro.  Entering Parrsboro you turn right on HWY 209 West that will take you to NovaShores Adventures in Advocate Harbour.

From Halifax follow HWY 102 towards Truro.  At the divide in the highway take the 104 towards Amherst. From the 104 take exit 12 towards Masstown.  At the end of the exit ramp facing Masstown Market (Good coffee and local produce) you turn RIGHT onto HWY 2.
Drive approx. 4 km and access left turning lane, turn LEFT to stay on HWY 2 towards Parrsboro.  At the stop sign in downtown Parrsboro turn RIGHT towards Amherst to stay on HWY 2. After approx. 3 km turn LEFT onto HWY 209 west that will take you to NovaShores Adventures.

East Dover, how to get there

NovaShores Adventures is located 283 East Dover Rd. in East Dover, Nova Scotia Canada. Our Dover location is on the south shore (Lighthouse route) of Nova Scotia. From Halifax it's a 40 minutes drive on Hwy. 333, which is the road to Peggy's Cove.  The turn off Hwy. 333 to our location in East Dover is marked by our blue signs.   If traveling from Lunenburg or other points south take Hwy 103 to exit 5 and follow the signs to Peggy's Cove.  Do not turn into Peggy's Cove but follow Hwy 333 past Peggy's Cove 6 km., through West Dover to the East Dover turnoff.
